Integrity in Buddhism refers to living in harmony with the principles of truthfulness, honesty, and moral discipline. A person with integrity acts with sincerity, even when no one is watching.

Buddhist integrity is grounded in sila, which includes moral precepts that guide behavior. The Five Precepts for lay practitioners are:
Refrain from killing living beings (non-harming).
Refrain from taking what is not given (honesty).
