Covid-19 was first discovered in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of 2019. When the virus spread, there was no antidote. The spread of this virus is really fast. Covid-19 has a very bad impact on those who are infected and causes many victims of the virus to death. This virus has not only spread in China or the Asian continent, even to all corners of the continent. The viciousness of this virus even has a very large number of deaths.

Exposed countries require their residents to stay at home in order to break the chain of the very fast spread of the corona virus, including Indonesia. Workers are advised to work from home, as well as students are advised to study from home.

However, with the sudden onset of the Covid-19 outbreak, it had a huge impact on education in Indonesia. Even though learning is online, it doesn't mean that using technology isn't a problem. There are many causes of inhibition of learning effectiveness including:

  1. Limitations in the use of Information Technology by teachers and students.
  2. Inadequate facilities and infrastructure.
  3. Limited internet access.
  4. Lack of prepared budget providers.

Many losses experienced by students in the value process. The school's internal assessment may be considered less urgent, but the assessment information is very important for the student's family. Some people consider the loss of information to evaluate a student is very important for the future of the student. College and high school graduates seeking work this year are experiencing serious turmoil due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Both students and graduates this year will experience a pause in their education in the second part of their studies. The immediate impact they experienced was a major distraction from the final judgment they should have received. But whatever the situation, they are still in this tragic global recession. Generally, difficult labor market conditions are a new obstacle for graduates. Competition in the labor market is very "noisy" and is in line with employees who have also experienced layoffs from the companies where they work.

Obviously, home-based learning guidelines in educational institutions have caused significant confusion. Cancellation of public assessments of student learning, assessment barriers, assessment waivers, employment opportunities after graduation, career selection qualifications. How should the Indonesian government respond to this? Schools need resources to reconstruct learning losses when continuing with learning activities. Recovery for this recovery must be faster and more accurate because of the allocation of the state education budget. To respond to the impact of Covid-19 on the world of education, reforming the education bureaucracy is urgently needed. An important policy that must be implemented by the Minister of Education and Culture is to restore, not eliminate, learning assessments because of the importance of student assessment factors. Therefore, it is better to postpone the review than to skip the review at school. For new graduates, politics needs to help new graduates enter the labor market to avoid long-term unemployment. The Ministry of Education and Culture needs to coordinate with the minister in charge to continue and reinvigorate labor-intensive work.
