The lack of communication for students could be the most common problem for language education students. Thus, making an international relationship could assist the students in improving their skills and abilities. International relationships are important, especially in academics. Many schools to universities have made good opportunities through international relationships, from making some programs such as native teacher, student exchange, and international internships.
The University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, which is located in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia, had a great opportunity to make an international relationship with Thailand through the international internship program. this program was conducted by the University of Muhammadiyah in affinity with Loei Primary Educational Area Office (LPEAO) from Thailand.
There are four University of Muhammadiyah in affinity in this program. The University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo is one of the University of Muhammadiyah that has sent two students to this international internship program. Raditya Ferdi Riyanto and Rishma Anggraini who are from the English educational study program, are two outstanding students who can meet the qualifications in this international internship program. Through this program, both students have an opportunity to teach English to international students in Thailand, who Raditya Ferdi Riyanto teaches at Anuban Chumchon Phukradueng School and Rishma Anggraini will teach at the Ban Loei Wangsai School. In this program, both students have a lot of benefits and opportunities to enhance their speaking skills, experience in real-time teaching, and learn about foreign cultures.
Through this program, in many instances takes a lot of benefit by utilizing the effectiveness of this program. The students are expected to be able to have a lot of experiences in teaching and giving a lot of benefits to either the schools, university, or the students. furthermore, the students could motivate their students at school, especially the importance of learning English. Through this program as well, lots of people will learn about another country's culture, which can make them all able to learn, adapt, and respectfully to another country's culture.
