Broken Heart Nap

Fell asleep in the afternoon
Hoping to find my prince in my dream
Under the sunlight of the afternoon,
my eyes closed,
I dream and try to find some peace from the sun.

A noise, a crying child, laughter of people, noise of my cat fighting, chicken screaming;
nothing can take me away from my search of you in my dream.

Asleep, but I am not
Running to try to catch your shadow in every corner of my dream
A thought to be with you for a while gives me a peaceful feeling, even if it is just in my dream.

I know that it’s true
I believe that it’s true
Being with you in my heart is meant to be
It’s hard to believe but that is what my heart says
So I keep looking for you in my dream
Hoping to find peace

Suddenly my search stopped
My eyes opened by the call of reality
For hours I try to find him again in my dream, but I fail.
Is he still in my dream?
Or did I just lose him?

I woke up with feeling of hurt in my heart
Hurt for losing him
Hurt for not feeling those feeling for him again
Hurt from failure to find him again
Hurt for losing heaven.

My heart was broken as I opened my eyes on that sunlit afternoon
