Introduction:
Global warming is a very huge issue for our planet earth. This is because of human activities that released the greenhouse's gas into the earth's atmosphere this is traps the heat and is making the Earth's temperature rise. This issue is very bad for our planet.
Greenhouse effect:
the greenhouse effect is a something that maintains Earth's temperature to a habitable level. But, human activities, made increased this effect. Making the Greenhouse's gas to gather in the atmosphere, it's trapping the heat and making the earth's temperature to increase, and is disrupting earth's balance.
The rising in temperatures:
One problem from global warming is the rise of average temperatures. This problem is shown and documented from the rising of sea levels, melting glaciers, and continual heat waves. The effects is global, and is very bad for our ecosystem, and health.
Melting ice and rising sea levels:
Ice caps and glaciers is melting fast. This is a very serious issue for islands near water. It also makes of floods and erosion. More common and, the melting Arctic ice has reached the consequences for wildlife, interrupting ecosystems and threatening species that lives in the habitat.
Extreme weather events:
Global warming's connected with the constant extreme weather like floods, and wildfires. This is becoming more common, and is also ruining a lot of communities and ecosystems. This won't only make some massive damage but it could also make some long-term consequences in the future.
Ocean acidification:
Too much carbon makes the oceans sour, affecting sea friends like corals and mollusks. Imagine their homes, fragile like glass, slowly dissolving as the oceans get more acidic. For corals, it's like a busy city losing its foundations, making it tough for them to build and keep their homes intact. Mollusks, with their pretty shells, also struggle to create safe homes, leaving them at risk. This is a big problem for these underwater neighbors.
