Social stigma related to noisy exhaust

In general, stigma is a view or assumption towards a person or group, whether it is a negative or positive view because of differences. Social stigma is the rejection of a person or group in the general public because of differences, doing different things or violating predetermined rules.

All forms of physical and social attributes that reduce a person's social identity, disqualify that person from being accepted by someone (Erving Goffman, 1968), meaning that someone is labeled, ostracized, not accepted, or stereotyped.

Noise exhaust is closely related to the health of his hearing. In this context a person or group does things differently in general, so that in society there is a bad view of the group where they are not accepted in the general public, not accepted in society because most noisy users have arrogant habits.

It can be concluded that the person or persons are labeled, branded, stereotyped, and reduce their social identity. People who do not use these products often associate in these groups also experience stigma.
