A: Do you like all death metal bands? They sound brutal and scary, bro...
B: Only some of them. Usually I choose ones with unique names. Godless Truth sounds unique to me because a little "philosophical".
A: Do they write "smart" lyrics? What makes you think this band is "philosophical"?
B: The lyrics are almost the same with other metal bands... about anti-religion dogmatic, suffering, and other dark themes. The name of Godless Truth makes me think about the final truth we always seek for as human. Maybe the "final truth" is actually no-religious or "godless". Who knows? That's why I like metal music. It sometimes makes me think or represent my feelings.
A: Where is this band from? How many albums have they released?
B: It's from Czech Republic and formed in 1994. Not many info from internet about this band. I just know they have released 5 albums and 1 EP. Maybe they also released some early demos, self-released, and split recordings with other bands. I just have some of their MP3 singles, anyway.
A: How much do you like this band? What of their songs attract you the most?
B: Not much. Like always... I'm not a fanatic metal fan. Just listen and go. Some of Godless Truth's songs I like are "Burning Existence", "Look Inside Your Pain", and "Worthless Human Being". Maybe these songs are not philosophical, at least trying to express something... yeah.
A: Is listening to death metal band not against religion, ethics, or morality values to you?
B: I guess not... as long as we're not becoming fanatical about this music. Just listen, pay attention to the lyrics, and go... haha. Don't be fanatic in anything. It's not good. Being a fanatic in religion isn't good either, right? So, in short... I'm just a moderate metal fan.
