Onion peel are a great source of minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium and coppe. Onion peel also rich of antioxidant and phosphor, a lot of studies proved that onion peel can be used as an efficient organic fertilizer. Studies proved that onion peel fertilizer can improve vegetables such as lettuce nutrition quality and also improve size and freshness, and there's a study that this fertilizer is also good for Indonesian-origin medicinal plants such as ceplukan or being known as golden berry in western. In the process of making onion peel fertilizer only needs a few materials such as a grip of onion peel, 200 ml of hot water,1 liter of cold water, and also a bowl or any bucket. The first step is to soak onion peels in 200 ml hot water for 2 hours in the bowl, then pour the soaked onion peel water into the bucket and add 1 liter of cold water, the onion peel fertilizer ready to use. For easy use, you can pour the fertilizer into a spray bottle and spray it into plant leaves, or just pour fertilizer into soil. Giving fertilizer in the different spots once a week can improve the different parts of plants when you pour the fertilizer into the soil it could improve the root growth and also could return the gone soil nutrients and when you spray it on leaves it could improve the number of leaves and leaf width.
