Internship Experience at BP3MI Jawa Barat

Malika Latif Nugroho Completes Internship at BP3MI Jawa Barat Archive Division

West Java, Indonesia -- Malika Latif Nugroho has successfully completed a 6-week internship program at the Archive Division of BP3MI Jawa Barat, starting from July 10 until August 16, 2024. Throughout this period, Malika actively contributed to the archival management and data processing tasks, gaining hands-on experience in document organization and archive preservation.

During the internship, his primary responsibilities involved sorting, filtering, and inputting thousands of pages of documents dating from 2011. Malika and his team were tasked with determining which documents should be retained and which should be disposed of, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the archive records.

In addition to his duties in the Archive Division, Malika was also given the opportunity to assist other departments, including data entry tasks for the Protection Division. This experience further enhanced his technical skills, particularly in manual and online data management systems.

Malika's internship experience extended beyond archival tasks as he actively participated in BP3MI Jawa Barat's office activities, including assisting with the decorations for Indonesia's Independence Day celebration. His engagement with fellow interns and staff created a strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration within the workplace.

Reflecting on the internship, Malika expressed his gratitude for the learning experience and the support he received from his colleagues at BP3MI. "This internship has provided me with invaluable insights into archival work and professional office environments.
