Abdurrahman wahid was born in denanyar jombang on 4 Agustus 1940 under the first name Abdurrahman Addakhil. Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur refers to the process of Islamization as was done by the saints in spreading Islam in the archipelago.
Gus dur is known as a multi-colored thinker, because his thoughts are known to be unique and rational, traditional and humorous systems.
