Breaking Dawn*
By Leni Marlina**
Freedom won't arrive by standing still,
Behind dark walls, our hopes can chill.
Miracles awaken with courage's spark,
Breaking chains, lighting up the dark.
Barriers built in order's name,
Shatter like glass in freedom's flame.
Like doves that soar when glass does break,
Our spirits rise, for liberty's sake.
Oppression's hold, we cast aside,
In freedom's arms, our hearts reside.
In morning's dew, a promise true,
A world reborn, with skies anew.
