Indonesia is known for its many cultures and customs, many of which are still  exist today. Indonesia not only has a long history of culture and traditions, but it also has a long history of heritage structures. Borobudur, for example, is a relic of the Syailendra dynasty, which was erected between 780 until 840 AD.

According to borobudurpark.com, this temple was created in the Mandala style to symbolize Buddhist teachings. The building is square in shape, with four entrances and a central circular focal point. It is separated into two halves from the outside in, such as the realm on the outside, which is divided into three zones, and the realm of Nirvana in the middle.

Borobudur Temple has become a must-see destination for visitors to Jogja. Even though it is located in Magelang, Central Java, tourists from Jogja will constantly visit this Borobudur Temple, despite the fact that it is around 1.5 hours away from the city center. Borobudur Temple attracts millions of tourists each year, both domestic and international. As a result, UNESCO certified the Borobudur Temple as the world's largest and grandest complex of temples and stupas, which is stunning.

Unfortunately, Borobudur Temple is no longer one of the world's seven wonders. However, this does not mean that the tourism sector is dormant, since the Borobudur temple is constantly visited by a large number of local and foreign tourists each year. Borobudur Temple is part of Indonesia's creative industry. We, the Indonesian people, must continually maintain and care for the tourist industry in Indonesia so that the Indonesian economy continues to function smoothly and Indonesia remains well-known across the world.
