Living In The Here And Now.........................hmm!

This is a big blessing for me to have found this concept of life. The Here and Now. People will not understand it in a first glimpse. This concept requires more investigation like what I did some moments ago. But I did it differently.

Once in my life, I was in search of something that can fulfill or represent the most suitable principle for my life. I get sick of the principle such as one-day living, or PADI which stands for Positive, Active, Discipline and Istiqomah/consistent. I found the latter at random during SHS and some others principle also followed after that.

Lately, I think that one-day living is something great to serve as principle. But I cannot reach the satisfactory result. I still did some idle stuff in the day. What I thought, I needed narrower space of time so I could control over it every single time. Actually, I have come to the conclusion but the definition of life once I read in a self-development web did strengthen and convince me that what I was searching for was correct. And let me tell you that the site defined life as the moment between breathes. In fact, we live between the breath we inhale and the next one we exhale. Wew! That’s damn narrowest space that ever known and it amazed me. I was so excited!

It was not long after that when I found something more powerful and fulfilling through mindfulness web ( I forgot the name, I should have noted the name that deserving site) about a wonderful term (The Here and Now) yay!!! I can immediately comprehend them. The Here means the place we are being right now and The Now simply means the present moment we are in. My heart start leaping and pounding my chest when I could find a word which was going to accompany the two terms. It was very representative exactly. No doubt I will be proud to write the full magical sentence down with capital letters. LIVING IN THE HERE AND NOW ! it’s wonderful!

I start doing a little investigation on them. Actually I condemn for finding it too late where many people all over the world had accessed it and applied the principle in their life while I am just like a baby who just found a new toy. Glek!

I gained much information explaining the terms. It’s mainly discussed under mindfulness column. This is actually a practice of Buddhism. They do a lot of meditation-related activities. It seems so quite. I cannot imagine how they do that and cannot get distracted at all.

I think this is the most suitable principle for me. I hope I can rely on it for the rest of my life to live it to the fullest. As I go serious for it and make a big decision, I will probably have to write them down below with details.

The Here

·Living Here means we need to focus on the place we are being in the moment, wherever we are, that’s actually our place and we have to do the best in that place. There is no such a place called home because home is simply when we are in. if someday we will travel overseas, we are actually traveling to home.

The Now

·The Now describes the present moment. This very second or every single unit of time. We have to focus living on it. We do not need to live both in the past and future because they just will put more regret and worry on to us. Focusing on the present moment let us live happier and life seems more enjoyable. If sometime we find ourselves being unhappy, it simply means we are not enjoying the present moment. It’s that simple. That’s actually the main point of living fully which was quoted by Mark Twain. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. By living fully, we will do the best thing in every single moment in our life. So when the death takes away, we are already prepared to go.

Doing the best means we use our total capability to do things in the best way wherever and whenever we are: when we are at home, try to be a good child, a good brother or a good uncle for nephews and cousins. The same way goes to other roles. When we are at college, try to be more cooperative with friends, just give the best service to your college mates. When it comes to teaching, try to be the best teacher you could. Apply all teaching rules that you have learned. And so on and so on…..

In short, we have to do the best whenever and wherever we are. We are not the best ones certainly but we  always try to do things in the best way. Got the point, yeah? J

Living in the here and now  therefore bears some other good qualities. I will try to list them down here.

·Living in the moment requires you to do things at once. No more procrastination. If you think or perceive that there is nothing such a later moment, then what’s the point of putting off doing something later.

·Living in the moment sweeps away all anxiety and worry. You shouldn’t bother yourself with those feeling of what will come ahead. Here is the present moment that is obviously yours to enjoy.Regretting the past is also pointless acts which has no benefit at all.

·Living in the moment makes you value your time better and get you focused to things you are doing.

There are so many more good qualities which once popped in my head coming out of this principle but my mind seem doesn't work well to dig them up right now..

Finally, I thank you for reading this!  though it seems weird and silly but  it's what i can share today.. :) sorry for my poor English :(
