Have you ever heard a word ‘Jeepney’ ? it’s an official mass transport in Philippine. Just like it’s name, is look like a jeep, an offroad vehicle that look so tought and strong!, but Jeepney is enhanced version of jeep, so it can load alot of passager. see this picture! the body made by metal. Look at the tire, it truck tire, but its radial already. see the driver! it’s on the left, and the traffic is right hand. But the attitude, just like angkot driver in Indonesia. They will stop where ever they like, they dont care about the taffic jam or everything. if you were in philippine, and you want to take this transportation, then you must pay at least 8 pesso, or 1600 rupiah. The differences between jeepney and angkot is, you dont pay when you get down, you will pay when you get on the vehicle. And the most interesting part is, you dont pay directly to the driver, but you ask for help the passager that closser to the driver, and say ‘bayat po!’. if you sit near of even next the driver, you can pay it directly to the driver, but alot of other passager will as for your favor to deliver the money to the driver, and the remain bak to the passager. when yoy pay with some one else money, you say ‘bayat dao!’ another word that you mas know if you want to stop, you say ‘para po’. oke, this is all! i’ll be back to tell you another stories at another time. ‘pa-alam :)’
