the smile of a child, forever pure
a treasure that time cannot obscure
innocence shining, bright as the sun
a symbol of love, that can't be undone

with a heart so pure and a soul so bright
their laughter echoes, through the night
a reminder of joy, in a world so tough
a symbol of hope, when things get rough

through the years, their smile may lose its light
but its memory forever shines, eternally bright
a beacon of light, in a world so dark
a reminder of love, that leaves its mark

so cherish the smile, of a child so dear
a reminder of hope, in times of fear
for in their smile, we see the truth
the essence of life, in its sweetest youth
