it's what makes us unique, a true rarity
some may think it's old and outdated
but it's what keeps our identity unabated
the sound of drums and the smell of incense
remind us of our ancestors' presence
from lighting candles to wearing beads
each act of tradition fulfills our needs
it brings us together, one and all
and reminds us of our heritage, standing tall
so let's cherish our traditions, old and new
and keep them alive for generations to view
for it's what makes us who we are
our unique culture, a shining star
