Doing experiments for the sake of science in some research is often considered as a cruel deed. That perspective can be understandable for they are having certain concerns on the ethical aspect. However, not all research that uses animals for experiments should be banned. Both views can have their own reason as it will be described in the following text.
Some research can be considered conducting cruel experiments depending on its goals and how they conduct the experiment and this decision is well accepted by everyone.
The banned research usually tries to achieve ridiculous goals, conducting bad ethical procedures within their research that in the end will cause bad effects that against the universal virtue. Various research about animal cloning, for instance, it is universally prohibited because it can cause an unacceptable effect and torture the animals during the process.
On the other hand, it is not ok if the prohibitions are applied to the other kind of experiments that don't harm the animals and the research goal represents the universal goodness. Many experiments can be conducted without harming the animals and are still considered as being important research for science.
The research about the intellectual ability of the animal, for example, it can be conducted by certain research department until now and considered as important research for the science.
By and large, the prohibitions on animals' experiments in conducting some research can be accepted as far as they also consider the ethic and the effect of the research. Moreover, the prohibitions are required to limit the research so that it will not break the universal well-being.
