A skinny old man was sedatively laying on his bed sleeping, his face and body looked pale and worn out. He had been suffering urinary infection for more than nine months. His daughter, the sole of the family, Marsini had sent him to hospitals many times and even traditional medications but he couldn't be cured. Not yet.

Quietly, Marsini entered to the room and tried not to wake him up. She sat on the chair next to his father's bed and looked at him in awe. The old man whom she never been actually live together for more than a decade.Torrential memories were rushing into her mind like waterfall. The bitter sweet of love, father and daughter.

Marsini began to remember her early life, how impatient her father was. Every evening, he taught her how to read and write. He would speak harsly and left her crying for hours when she couldn't get it right. But in the next day, Marsini came home from school and eagerly looking and calling him.

"Pa...Pa... Where are you? Look what I got from school, Pa!"

And she wouldn't stop screaming and calling her father before he show up, and then let him know that she just got 90 mark from her test at school, that day.Marsini was a briliant kid, not to mention for her shyness but she done well academically and made her father and mother a proud parent.

Their love to Marsini was unconditional. During rainy days, her mother would waiting her school bus by the roadside under the rain. Occasionally, with their little money that they earned from the farm, they took her for shopping  and little sight-seeing. Marsini might didn't have the opportunities to wear expensive clothes, expensive toys or nice vacation abroad but she appreciated all her parent's efforts which made her to feel being so loved.

Marsini was lost within her deep reminiscence, but suddenly a hoarse voice had awaken her.

"Marsi, why are you crying" asked her father who had woke up without her realization.

Marsini smiled as she kissed her father eyes, then brushed his forehead gently and said, "Pa, I'm sorry. I have to leave tonight. Just so you know, I wanted to be by your side in this difficult time but I guess I have my own decision"

"Don't think too much, Marsi. I'm the one who need to say sorry to you. We have been troubled you all these years. Sorry we burden your life, just pray for me that I can get well soon" replied his father in hoarse and low voice.

"No, Pa... This is my resposibility as your daughter. I still remember how needy I am when I was a kid, Pa and you were never failed to make me happy. I wish I could do more than this, really. I wish that I can stay by your side and help you but I guess, this life doesn't offer me much choices. It's not that I don't love you, Pa. I just want you to understand, sometime to pursue one thing we have to sacrifice another thing, Pa"
