The lion in me
Laying awake within my sanity
Gazing to the ceiling which is hanging
Turning my head and looking to my my familiar surrounding
Then, I got a peculiar feeling

The lion in me
Wandering, wondering inside a craftman's chamber
Growling loudly, trying to scare away a frail old man
Who was patiently carving his collections of ebony
But, he does not move and ignored my presence

The lion in me
Gradually relized, the frail looking man is stronger than I
The devotion to his passion
Does not buy my pride, my ignorance
Then, his skinny hand threw me a tiny wooden block

The lion in me
Walking closer to him, shamefully
Wacthing his flawless' prowess in carving of stones and ebony
I understood, he been doing that for decades
He does not utter any words, leaves me in silence

The lion in me
Looking at the wooden block, a gift from the frail old man
Painting in the air and conjured up a beautiful shape
For my very own sculpture
Yes, there will be shape of a beautiful little baby

The lion in me
Pawing the wood patiently, drawing life in many hues
From the unborn to a premature birth
Mmmm...Finally the shape can be seen
It is not fine, but everything seems in place

The lion in me
Still pawing the sculpture and adding more colours
The colour of a premature child, who was dying in her first five days
And now she is a woman
Yes, the woman and the lion in me
