I am at ease.
Vastness in front of me.
I used to think how big the world is,
I still do.
From my childhood until my now adulthood, the world has never ceased to amaze me.
Those big brown-greyish trees, with greens every here and there,
Those reds, yellows occasionally erupt from between the greens,
Those harmonious sounds of water gurggling in the pond, birds chirping close by, crickets, toads,
Those butterflies, whites, purples and black eyes,
Oh! How big is the world!
As I slowly gaze my left and my right, I can't help but standing there in awe for these magnificent splendors.
Suddenly, a hand reaching out for me.
I withdraw a little, I shy away a little, though I know he meant no harm.
He fondles me and lifts me up.
I am back in the pond.
Slowly I come out of my shell.
I am at ease.
Once again.
