What’s interesting about Bali is that there are many stories which are never-ending to be told. There is a history and legend about Goa Lawah where is located at Klungkung, East of Bali. Sited near the sea, a cave, namedGoa Lawah, is believed to be the head of Basuki dragon which was a manifestation of God Wisnu. A long time ago, Bali Island was in drought, God Wisnu was sent to give rain and fertility the land. Wisnu changed to be Basuki dragon and laid down. His tail was in Mount Agung and his head was towards the sea.

He blew his hot breath towards the sea and made the sea water evaporated. The evaporated sea water became clouds. Together with the wind, the clouds were flown to the mountains and the rain then fell. It is believed that people have to keep the world as well as the nature in balance.
