PSYCHOSEXUAL DEVELOPMENT
- Born up to 12-18 M
In this phase, a baby gets the fun or enjoyment from his mouth. Except for breastfeeding, a baby would play with his mouth for example with his fingers, and explore that part by entering all things.
- The Anal Phase(1-3 Years)
In this phase, the child's enjoyment doesn't get pleasure from inserting something into his body but rather from pushing it out of the anus or pooping
- ThePhallic Phase (3-6Years)
In this stage, the children would like to observe and touch the genitals or sex organs and this often happens for the boys. Also, the children beginning to be aware of their gender.
- The Latent Phase (6-12 Years)
In this phase, the sexual activity experienced by children has begun to decrease because they're focusing on their physical and cognitive development as they're starting to enter school.
- The Genital Phase (Puberty-Adult)
The last phase of psychosexual development is because the child's sexual organs and sexual hormones begin to become active so that the child is enjoying sexual activity consciously.
