Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' ability to write observation report text using image media. The subjects of this research were 26 students in class VIII
(eight) A of Al Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong Middle School. The form of this research is classroom action research. This research data was collected from an observation report writing test and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in students' ability to write observation report texts using image media in class VIII (eight) A students at Al Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong Middle School. This can be seen from the writing results in cycle I. The students' average score was 82.46 (fair) and increased to 86.50 (very good) after being corrected in cycle II.
