In facing the ever-evolving challenges of education, effective school management is crucial for improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Through a literature review, this article identifies key elements of school management that can positively impact student learning.

Definition and Components of School Management


Effective school management encompasses planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating all educational activities. According to Pramudito and Anindita (2021), good management involves not only administrative aspects but also includes curriculum development and the enhancement of teaching quality.

Key Elements of Effective School Management

1. Inspirational Leadership
   Effective leadership significantly influences school culture. Research by Rachmawati (2022) shows that principals who apply inspirational leadership can motivate teachers and students to actively participate in the teaching and learning process.

2. Teacher Professional Development
   Improving teacher competence through ongoing training and professional development is essential. According to Ramadhani (2023), a well-structured development program can enhance teaching skills and positively impact student learning outcomes.

3. Stakeholder Engagement
   Involving parents and the community in school management contributes to educational success. Research by Sari (2020) indicates that collaboration between schools and parents can strengthen support for students, leading to increased motivation to learn.

The Role of Technology in School Management

In the digital age, utilizing information technology in school management is also vital.
