In shadows cast by tongues unkind,
Where whispered falsehoods find their bind,
I stand, besieged by words untrue,
A target of deceitful hue.
Behind my back, they sow their lies,
Crafting webs of false disguise,
Yet unaware, they fail to see,
The strength that lies deep within me.
Their tongues may wag, their whispers hiss,
But truth shall prevail, dismiss their bliss.
