"Filtering qualified applicants is basically an effort of all parties internally and intensively and strategically to convince prospective students to be able to choose the course or college," said Rector Unib, Prof. Ir. Zainal Congress, M.Sc., Ph.D., when delivering the material in the Workshop on Evaluation, Improvement and Curriculum Development Program on Agricultural Technology Studies Industry Hall Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, on Tuesday (29 / 3). This workshop was organized by the Agricultural Industry Technology Studies Program (TIP), Faculty of Agriculture Unib.
Of internal factors, delivered by Zainal that the study of agricultural science is too specific, particularly the completion of the study period end of a long task, lack of employment, the gap between lecture material with the realities of life, and the lack of partnerships with the private sector.
Efforts are being made is to increase the quality of academic programs, increased research activities and community service and quality improvement processes, facilities and infrastructure of learning. There should also dikembangkang cooperation with other parties who are co-branding, internships, on campus recruitment, provision of scholarships.
