The presence of Rohingya refugees in Indonesia has been a complex and growing problem for several years. Fleeing violence and persecution in Myanmar, thousands of Rohingya have sought refuge in Indonesia, a Muslim-majority country. However, their integration into Indonesian society is fraught with challenges, both for the refugees themselves and the local community. The Rohingya are a Muslim minority group in Myanmar, they have faced decades of discrimination and persecution, including forced evictions, denial of citizenship, and violence that ultimately forced hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to flee their homes, many of them seeking refuge in neighboring countries such as Indonesia. But the arrival of Rohingya refugees in Indonesia has drawn a lot of rejection from Indonesians, considering the conflict that occurred in Malaysia where Rohingya refugees who were accepted to live in Malaysia actually demanded ownership of the territory, Indonesians do not want the same problem to happen in their country. In addition, the behavior of Rohingya refugees is considered bad, making people even more reluctant to accept them to live in Indonesia. to respond to this, the role of the international community is needed in overcoming this Rohingya crisis.
