Education in Ethics: The Need of Justice in Bridging Good Society for a Good Country

Imagine when a country is a peace atmosphere where all of the society is doing well whereas the justice is arrowed as the target. Likewise Allah S.W.T whom Moslem believe as the one and only trusted guidance has stated that, "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just, for that is nearer to righteousness. Fear Allah, for indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do." (Q.S An-Nisa 4:35)

Undeniably, if a person is doing harm to someone’s justice it can be considered inappropriate. Justice is something that a person should fight for and someone who is having it equally just the same to one another. When a person was given a livethere also justice lies either the soul is girl or boy. Justice do not seek for the right place but the justice will be always there, if we analog justice as simple as a scale tool which is used to measure the right amount of weight, this does happens to justice which the scale tool is God and it guidance and it is measuring the right and facts to be balanced and to perceive a justice. 

By Islam perspective, a person cannot measure a justice in the exact measurement like Allah SWT could did. The role of justice is actually wider than it should be. When it comes to justice people might think about the almighty judges in court as the judges are ready to hit the hammer off with a resolution for a case. Indeed, it was but it was wider than that. Justice in Islam perspective captivates many aspects. Justice is about helping one another, showering affection towards Moslem and having responsibility to the individual itself; to the surroundings and who made it; to the society; and yet to the country. Justice also implying the contribution of ourselves because we know that many people tend to just do what they want to do. They did not think that their attitude can be a harm into another being. Justice is there to discipline people mostly in their ethics, how can a person would live without ethics? 

Ethics cannot be earn by learning to school and paying attention to the whiteboard while the teacher is explaining A to Z. Ethics is something that occurs by the person will itself. If a person is willing to have a good ethic that it will possibly happen. Furthermore, if the justice is a key point on building ethics then people should be more sensitized with their own sense towards the surroundings. This is what the article trying to show, about how this will bridge us as a good social being, of course by having a good ethics with justice as it fundamental. 

Speaking about fundamental and social being, a person is also born into this world with the same identity; a social human being. Which no one can live alone or spend their lifetime without involving another one’s help. Imagine of how our life would be if everyone is only paying through their own path. Everyone wants to lead and the fear has no right to voice them. This situation is somehow creepy if it is realized by. Moreover, that is why we need each other to complement our need in this small earth. Yet after knowing this fact, the justice sense which all of us are equal should be added always into the material. That the truth is, no one is better than anyone, it only because one is not satisfied by their own work so they feel lesser. 

After emphasizing things about individual requirements, now, how should we place ourselves to have a good ethics within the society? The answer is: Tolerance. Have a high consideration on your own tolerance sense by the fact that there are zillion people you might not know their name yet with their own characteristics. Some can be good or bad but that does not matter because the matter is on how your eyes on them. If a person do no harm then do not make them seen as a harm to the society. Face it with another good sides, we are no such perfect as Allah SWT. Yet to also accept the fact that it is okay to not always receive good impression and take it as an evaluation in yourself. If someone say good then make it better, otherwise if the  person is mocking you, then just take it as a self evaluation. Our prophet Muhammad SAW never responds to any harm that his haters shown. All his life he put patience and just let it be. It is because he believe that he is already good enough for people who can see his good and it will be useless if he just keep paying attention to those harm stuffs.

Sadly, prophet Muhammad SAW’s attitude cannot be duplicate to all of the human in this world, but still people are freely to take him as a good role model. Despite of being a good human being, Rasulullah also sets himself as a great tolerance person in a society. If only peoples in society can model the actions that Rasulullah did, the world will be such an harmonious environment. When the society is in harmonythen so the country will and if these country become in also one harmony that the world will be no longer harm to people who thought so. 

By educating persons in society, as in key points that we need justice to bridge the society and optimized the performance of a harmonious country or even world. This should be emphasized more in daily lives to remind one another about the equality of our being while implementing the high tolerance actions all over. Social justice and ethics education is more than enough for people who maybe want to start fixing their path on being a good citizen charactered in a society, everyone can do, you just need the faith sparks sense for you.

Lastly, in our daily lives, being fair and doing what's right helps create a happy and peaceful community. Likewise following the teachings of the Quran and the kindness of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), let's make sure our actions promote harmony. By doing simple things with fairness, we can all contribute to a world where everyone is treated well, showing kindness and making lasting peace yet bridging ourselves towards the surroundings.
