Air pollution is not limited to the air we breathe. From humans and animals to plants and trees, all living things need clean, breathable air. These needs make tackling air pollution a critical priority to heal and protect our planet and future.

Firstly, air pollution is a common problem in major cities around the world. Heavy traffic, large industrial areas, and dense crowds all contribute to the area's pollution. The effects of air pollution are spreading all over the world, wreaking havoc on people, plants, and animals. Changes in air and water quality create dangerous and even fatal situations.

Secondly, breathing polluted air can damage your heart and lungs. Much like smoking cigarettes, inhaling polluted air particles can cause heart and lung disease in humans and animals, which can ultimately be fatal. For people with certain medical conditions, high levels of air pollution can make their symptoms worse. People with asthma, allergies, and diseases that cause breathing problems tend to be hit hardest.

Thirdly, when there are pollutants in the air, plants also inhale those particles. This can cause serious problems in plant cells, resulting in poor plant growth and even death. Residues of chemicals and pollutants in the air stick to plants and interfere with the necessary photosynthesis. Without proper sunlight, plants quickly discolor and die.

Finally, atmospheric moisture picks up dangerous airborne chemicals and pollutants, creating further problems for the environment. As a result, acid rain seeps into groundwater and other bodies of water, creating a dangerous situation for plants, animals, and humans. Air pollution causes contamination of water and soil, with potentially dire consequences for all living things.

In summary, from the reasons mentioned above, air needs to be clean and healthy to breathe because of several reasons such as pollution on the air can damage your heart and lungs, it is also a common problem in major cities. Not just us but animals, plants, and environments can also be harmed by the air pollutants, this could lead to many unexpected natural causes. As global citizens, we must be aware of our actions and take positive steps to reduce air pollution.
