The SARS-CoV-2 virus, which started in Wuhan, China, and spread to many regions of the globe, is the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 epidemic has had a significant influence on society, the economy, and individuals. To curb the spread of this COVID-19 disease, community activities must be restricted or even discontinued. Therefore, it not only harms a person's physical health but also their mental health. This social distancing effort turned out to have quite serious side effects. Initially, people will feel bored when they have to stay home a lot. Over time, that boredom can develop into depression and anxiety disorders. Adults will also be more triggered if there is a termination of employment or a business that is on the verge of bankruptcy. During times of social distancing, teenagers and young adults aged 18–24 are known to feel extremely lonely. Despite the fact that that age is a time for them to develop their identity through friendship, the mental health risk of COVID-19 in adults and the elderly tends to be smaller because there is less need to socialize.
