I never knew the snow; its coldness was unfamiliar to me.

I know not of the rain-the joy of being surrounded by it, or maybe the sadness of standing alone while it screams in my ears.

I was oblivious until you showed me the possibility.

Such an experience, to be human, to feel and fall, to hope yet be left unwanted.

I know all of it now; the rest doesn't matter.

For what's the use of chasing the sun when the snow is my companion?

To the rain, I am its champion; the mud calls me out like an eel praying for moisture.

Even then, my soul remains yours to command.

May the sun burn me, blind me with its light.

Kill me if you must, for even in the next life, loving you is my absolution.
