Another day has gone by, wandering through the ticking clock,
I woke up this morning, wondering aimlessly
"Today is the day," I told myself as I walked past another block
Another lonely road, another jumping rock, another river, and another self talk
A bird flew over my head, its wings yet another dread
why should I walk when I can spread my dreams through the cloud,
Another fantasy, another blasphemy, another attempt at defying gravity
like an angel mad with light,
a rose beneath the endless rain,
like raven eyes stared upon the spiteful sight of the nighthawk
