Green Generations volunteers in action

On sunday morning... january 10, 2011. Volunteers from Andalas University and also from Don Bosco Senior High School has participated in activity to clean Pantai Padang( Padang Beach) beachside. Even we were about seven people on that day (hope more people will join in next activity), but we did it with strong willing to make it more clean from trash.. and we have cleaned about 100 meters away until 10 am. We were suprised when we saw the beachside is cleaner than before... (it'll be very beautiful when all the beachside become clean). After we collecting the trash, we put it into the sack and then trying to find trash vessel near there, but we didn't find it. A man there said just put the trash at the roadside, but we thought that would be disturbing (you know, our reactions if we see a lot of trash at roadside,weeeew....). So, we decided to burn the trash.. We realized that burning it have same bad effect for the earth, but on that time, we didn't have a choice V_V but in the next project, we want to make such a attractive trash basket and  announcement to throw the trash in the trash basket or trash vessel... and think the idea to recycle, reuse, and reduce it..., wish this planning can be accomplished. Our own satisfaction was when we saw the kids enjoying to play arround on the clean beachside. Hope they'll remember that Beach is a nice place to play because it's beautiful and clean.. and for sure...,this activity was fun ^_~ If you have interesting or creative idea...,please share with us by post or comment this post ^_^
