Kentir cracker, that's is how the way people of Kemetul Village call this kind of onion cracker, but the reason why the name "Kenthir" calls for someone who lost their mind is labeled on the crackers.

The first story of the creation of Kerupuk Kentir is based on some villagers who work as village officers. The name of the cracker is based on the first people who made and sold it in Kemetul Village. The seller's idea is to sell his cracker, which is different from the usual crackers that are sold in the village. The villagers thought that his idea was insane and mind-blowing in other meaning, which led other villagers to label him as a crazy man, but his idea became a sweet fruit since his crackers were became one of the famous products in Kemetul village.
The reason for his success is the label that villagers put on him. The people call him crazy, and because of his nickname from the villager inspired him to create the name of his crackers that finally became the uniqueness of Kemetul village as "Kerupuk Kentir".

THE SECOND REASON AND STORY
the second story is just a simple story, that came from the maker of Krupuk Kentir who has done this profession for generations. The story begins with the first ancestor of the maker Madam Surati in 1987. At this time the first ancestor tried to find a way to make her product, which is a round-shaped cracker to become famous among other long-shaped crackers produced by the other cracker makers. Finally, she decided to name her cracker "Krupuk Kenthir" to make the customers who heard the name curious and tried to find it.
The legends of this cracker are already rooted in the heart of the villagers of Kemetul village, then when the time passing the makers of the Kenthir cracker became many and kept growing, but the young generation of this village still didn't have any will yet, to continue this unique product of Kemetul Village, made its existence in danger.
