Here comes to you my own review of (I dare say) the best movie in 2010, Inception. It is a movie directed by Christopher Nolan, if you don't know him, he was the director of The Dark Knight which made a huge applause back in 2008. If you afraid of spoiler, it's okay to read this review because there is no any spoiler here. It has been a rumor that Christoper Nolan spent almost ten years just to write the script, the story line of Inception. Now that I had seen the movie, i gotta say that it must have been a very hard work which took a very long time to think and needed a super creative and imaginative brain to twist it all and to knit it all so that it became such a great movie like this. If you can guess how the story of a movie ended, then you absolutely know how will the story goes on right to the end like you think of. But it's different with Inception. Here, the story is all about process, you can't even think of what will happen next. If you wonder why, it's because Nolan made us think and think, again and again the whole time. Nolan presented to you the big maze of dream and reality, the complicated labyrinth of how is dream becoming reality, how is reality becoming a dream, dream within dream, and reality without dream. Confused? You will get the answer later when you already watched the movie.. :) Inception itself is a method of putting or introducing a seed of idea in someone's mind. Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is an extractor, his job is stealing ideas from people's dream and he is the only one who knows how to do the inception. A rich businessman, Saito (Ken Watanabe) makes Cobb an offer that he can't refuse. Saito's offer is that Cobb can go back and meet his children again and one thing that Cobb has to do is inception. In order to do the inception mission, Cobb forms a team, which consist of his old but not old friend Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Eames the master of forgery (Tom Hardy), a chemist Yusuf (Dileep Rao) and Ariadne (Ellen page) a young student who has a great skill of becoming an architect. Together they have a mission to introduce an idea to a young billionaire Robert Fisher Jr. (Cillian Murphy). It is a hard, complicated thing to do and if they do it wrong it will change the person, forever. It is becoming more complicated with the presence of Cobb's bad memory of his wife, which always come and ruining every single dream he has and it sure does bring a danger to the mission. I stunned by the way Nolan ilustrated the story, the dream, the transition from one scene to another scene, from one dream to another dream, and  the way Arthur fights, i just got "Wow" by his actions. Nolan really made the dream comes true. Honestly, I came to the cinema to watch this movie with a very high expectation (you know, we are talking about Nolan's movie here) and I was ready to be dissapointed by how it turned out later. But what I got is more than just good, or great, it was excellent! Nolan brought us originality, right when there are so many sequels, remakes, and franchise nowadays. It's a brand new idea, excellent idea that was excellently executed so that became an excellent movie to watch. I felt like I was part of the movie and there was a moment that was hard for me to realize which one is the reality and which one is the dream, it was just as Cobb said in the movie: "When you are dreaming, you are not sure when was your dream started". If you think that this is a serious movie that need a full concentration to understand it, i say yes it is. But after the movie is ended you will find that your adrenaline is pumped, you will feel excited of what you just saw, of how it ended. That is what happen with most of my fellow movie lovers in the studio, many of them giving standing applause right when the movie was ended. Even in my way home, I still felt the hype of the movie, I felt my head went blank for a few moment, amazed by the movie (lucky me i didn't get any accident). In conclusion, it is a very worth movie to watch. One that you may never see again in a few years. I gave it two super big thumbs up, and in 10 scale i gave it 9.5 Go watch the movie now and "dream" along the movie.. :) Point :(9.5/10) You can watch the trailer here.
