L.Sher in QMJ Volume 99, Issue 1 Jan 2006 state that combination of depression and alcohol dependence often lead to suicidal behavior. It is become more interesting to live in a country that generally promoting restriction of alcohol consumption.
Will it have any impact on suicidal behavior ? Airi Varnik et.al wrote in Addiction Volume 102, issue 2 Feb 2007 that that alcohol consumption was a common precursor to suicide and that rigorous alcohol restrictions were accompanied particularly by a decrease in BAC (blood alcohol concentration)positive suicide mortality among both sexes .
