Leaves in Autumn

The sun shone the brown leaves on the ground
The wind blows swinging old branches
The sound of the rustling fall leaves fills the path
The smell of dry leaves on the ground stings across the street
The falling leaves touch anyone who passes by
To give the bitterness of the autumn that brought it down
