Promiscuity is the behavior of an individual or a group that has crossed the boundaries of norms and religious teachings. Teenagers are very vulnerable to falling into promiscuity because their mindset is still very unstable. Most teenagers are between 11-19 years old. This period is considered a critical period of development. As you go through this period of growth, new cognitive skills and abilities will emerge. At this stage, adolescents are still in a period of development that will affect their next life.

Promiscuity has emerged from the past, it's just that now it seems to be getting worse and worrying. This free association can be triggered by increasingly sophisticated technology, cultural exchanges, changing times, as well as global economic factors.

Examples of promiscuity include smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, fighting, consuming illegal drugs, to having free sex. At this vulnerable age, teenagers cannot measure the existing risks. Adolescence is a period of transition physically, socially, emotionally, and many other things. At that time, generally, every teenager is looking for identity and facing challenges. Many things make them curious, especially to seek experience. Including exploring a lot of new things on the sidelines of his daily life.

Free association can occur because of the wrong choice of friends. Be friends with anyone, but we must be able to choose a circle of friends that always invites us in a positive direction. If we make friends with children who make noise every day such as smoking or drinking alcohol, we will automatically follow suit to try it.

Hormonal changes during puberty have a big impact on the brain, it may make teens seem selfish. On the other hand, hormonal changes in the teenage brain can also make teens more idealistic. Until their brains develop to deal with gray issues, teens tend to think one-sidedly.

The result of promiscuity it self is:

1.  Share yourself

Faith becomes empty, mentally unstable, dependence on drugs, reduces health, contracting infectious diseases such as AIDS/HIV, etc.

 2. For family

Makes family relationships tenuous, the role of being a parent fails, and the good name of parents becomes ugly.
