Indonesia is an agricultural country, a country that produces many types of agricultural products. Therefore, agriculture plays an important role in advancing the Indonesian economy.
Currently, Indonesia is backward compared to other countries such as Japan, besides being advanced in technology, Japan is advanced in agriculture. In my opinion, agriculture in Indonesia is underdeveloped because of the lack of agricultural technology. For this reason, technology is something that must be developed in agriculture in Indonesia.
For example in the area of Jember, East Java. Some there are carrying out their agricultural activities manually, such as planting with their own farmers, and also plowing the fields using their pet cows. This will drain a lot of their energy and also take a long time.
One example of technological developments in agriculture is tractors. Tractors help farmers to manage the land in plowing the fields. With a tractor, farmers will be helped and make time efficient.
Therefore, improvement of agricultural technology is needed to overcome agricultural problems. One way to make agricultural technology in Indonesia more developed, can be done by counseling agricultural technology to the people of Indonesia.
