Honey bee is a bee that can produce honey and beeswax. There are more than 20 thousand species of bees, and only 7 of them belong to honey bees. This kind of bee has a special tongue that sucks up the nectar and store it in the crop of their throat which in the end will turn to honey when they go into their hive.
Honey bees usually lives in colonial or in a hive. All bees usually work together as a colony for the good of the hive. Honey bees stings is the same as other bees, it's not venomous but hurt a little.
There are castes in honey bees, the queen who will lay eggs of the workers bees, and the workers that will build the honeycomb and take care of the larvae that the queen forged. There can't be two queen in a colony, if a new queen were born then one of them must die. The workers bee will surround one of the queen to suffocate it until it die.
