Indonesian Unemployment Rate Rising

Many companies experienced large losses due to the pandemic some time ago, which still has an impact today. The percentage level of unemployment in Indonesia is increasing because many companies are reducing their workforce due to decreasing output. Competition in the global market is the main factor influencing the increase in the percentage of unemployment to 6.77% compared to 2022. Apart from that, many companies have followed technological advances that are replacing humans. 

To overcome the percentage of unemployment, the government has tried various methods, one of which is creating new jobs by developing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, apart from the government trying to reduce the unemployment rate, self-awareness is also important for looking for work or opening your own business, which will later be able to open up employment opportunities for people who need work.
