Jadi wartawan sejak akhir 2003. Sebelumnya sempat menganggur setengah tahun selepas lulus dari Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Awalnya ingin jadi gitaris death metal bahkan pastor tetapi ganti haluan sebab memilih kewartawanan.
