In this modern era, social media has become an important part of everyday life. People use it to share stories, find information, and even connect with people far away. However, it is undeniable that behind its convenience, social media can also cause various problems for a person's mental health. Many people feel pressured because they often compare themselves to others on social media, such as about their appearance, lifestyle, or even other people's success. As a result, feelings of anxiety, stress, and even depression arise. Therefore, it is very important for us to find a way so that social pressure on social media does not continue to affect a person's mental health.

To overcome this problem, we need to limit the time we spend using social media. If we continue to spend time using social media, we will tend to feel dissatisfied with our own life achievements, because we continue to compare ourselves to others. By limiting time, we can focus more on other more useful activities. Features such as time reminders on social media applications can also help us, so that we are more aware and wise in using them.

Another way is to wisely choose the content that we will see on social media. We can follow accounts that can provide us with positive motivation, knowledge, or entertainment. In addition, we also need to stop following accounts that make us feel anxious and inferior. In this way, the use of social media can be a healthier place for us to enjoy.

Finally, it is also important for us to strengthen our relationships with our family and friends in the real world. Communicating directly can help us feel supported and appreciated. This can give us a more real view of our lives than the standards on social media that are often unrealistic and can make us feel stressed.

In conclusion, social pressure on social media can indeed affect our mental health. However, by limiting the time we use social media, choosing positive content on social media, and also strengthening our relationships with people in the real world, we can better maintain our mental health. So that social media can still be used without having a negative impact on us.
