The day has come. I'm done getting dressed, time to go. I drove my car to where the party was being held. When I got there I met several people who came from the same school as me. They were seen chatting with glasses filled with alcoholic beverages in hand. I know this shouldn't be happening. It's illegal for minors to drink alcohol, but just like driving before getting a license, it's normalized where I live. So again, this isn't a big deal right?
My eyes kept roaming, trying to find my senior.
"Hi!" said someone while tapping my shoulder from behind.
I turned my head and found the person I was looking for earlier.
"oh, hey Mauryn!" I replied to his greeting.
"You arrived earlier?" asked Mauryn.
"I just arrived. By the way, happy birthday! Best wishes on the rest of your journey." I said while handing her a paper bag containing a gift.
"Oh thank you, dear. I have to go to greet the others, please enjoy the party!"
