INTRODUCTION
“Geographic Information System for Mapping Spiritual Flows in Pudak District, Ponorogo Regency Based on Website” by Ahmad Fauzan, Faisal Reza Pradhana, and Taufiqurrahman which website and contains information about mapping spiritual flows in Ponorogo. This system can display the coordinates of villages in Pudak District and show the types of spiritual flows in the village along with the number of followers.
SUMMARY
This journal displays a system that contains the coordinates of villages in Pudak District and shows the types of spiritual flows in the village along with the number of followers. This journal was created because many citizen of Ponorogo do not know the spiritual flow, while the spiritual flow is one of Indonesia's cultures that must be immortalized. The method used in this system is the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a systematic and sequential information system development model
EVALUATION
The use of the waterfall model in this system is to ensure that its creation is structured towards development. And data collection from observations and interviews provides a strong foundation for the system. However, the use of this waterfall model may limit flexibility during further development and updates.
CRICTICAL ANALYSIS
I agree with the author’s research . because his journal provides comprehensive information about the spiritual flow in Pudak District, Ponorogo. The data produced is concrete data because it is obtained from observations and interviews with local residents. However, the methodology used by the author is a methodology that is difficult to develop. Because every time there is an update of data on followers of the spiritual flow, the earliest step must be started, namely identifying needs in website development by conducting interviews. And maybe, after this the author can provide 3D visualization on a map showing the area.
CONCLUSION
From the results of the research that has been done, the following conclusions can be obtained:
- Users can see information about the spiritual flow in each village along with the number of followers
- Based on the results of the trial, this system can run well
