Abstrak

The Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) has become an essential solution for managing traffic issues in urban areas like Bandar Lampung. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of ATCS in improving traffic management and reducing congestion. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys and analyzed using SPSS to compare traffic conditions before and after ATCS implementation.

Previous research indicates that technology-based traffic management can enhance urban mobility by optimizing traffic flow (Harris, 2020; Johnson & Karley, 2018). However, there is limited literature focusing on ATCS applications in Indonesia, particularly in Bandar Lampung. Our hypothesis suggests that ATCS significantly improves traffic management and decreases congestion.
