The field of education is broader than just learning, with learning being a part of education itself. Essentially, education is a deliberate effort to mature individuals through values transformed into students, while learning is a deliberate effort to mature students through the transformation of knowledge. The success of an education is influenced by the success of the learning process within it, and the success of learning is determined by various interconnected components. The demand for the readiness of human resources produced by the education sector cannot be separated from the existence of educational facilities and infrastructure needed in the education and learning process. Educational facilities and infrastructure are vital instruments in education and are one of the eight National Education Standards. 

The success of educational programs in schools is greatly influenced by the conditions of the educational facilities and infrastructure the school possesses, as well as the optimization of their management and utilization (Matin and Nurhattati, 2016:14). The availability of facilities and infrastructure is one of the requirements for providing quality learning, as learning activities cannot proceed optimally without the support of these educational facilities and infrastructure. The existence of educational facilities and infrastructure in schools needs to be well managed to help achieve the set educational goals. Many schools have complete educational facilities and infrastructure that greatly support the educational process in schools, however, this condition does not last long. The quality and quantity of facilities and infrastructure cannot be maintained continuously. 

Meanwhile, assistance for facilities and infrastructure does not come at all times, ultimately becoming a constraint in improving the quality of learning, and also impacting budget waste in schools. Therefore, efforts are needed to manage facilities and infrastructure well so that the quality and quantity of educational facilities and infrastructure can be maintained for a relatively long time. Good facility and infrastructure management are expected to be a solution for managing facilities and infrastructure in schools. Educational facility and infrastructure management can be defined as the work process and utilization of all educational facilities and infrastructure effectively and efficiently. Educational facility and infrastructure management is tasked with organizing and maintaining educational facilities and infrastructure to ensure they can contribute optimally and meaningfully to the educational process (Mujamil Qomar, 2007:170-171).
