This film tells about a pair of high school teenage lovers who have sex and result in pregnancy, namely Bima and Dara. Dara is a smart student in her school. Dara's highest score among classmates. He is also a big fan of everything about Korea and has aspirations to continue his education in Korea. And that is the opposite of Bima, he has a low academic value.
Even so, they love each other and often play together, until one day, they cross the line by having sex outside of marriage. After that incident, Bima and Dara did not talk to each other, until one day, when Dara was confirmed pregnant.
The tension in their relationship increased, they did not talk to each other, and even Bima also tried to avoid Dara, fearing uncontrollable emotions. When Bima apologized, he suggested Dara to have an abortion, but Dara wouldn't do it.
In this film, Zara plays a very good acting. Zara's acting as Dara became more complete when acting with Angga Yunanda as Bima. Amazingly, his expression can convey dialogue. When acting is silent, muted, and dazed too, Angga can convey intentions.
All the characters in this film give very emotional acting performances. Cut Mini as the mother of Bima even managed to convey everything, ranging from emotions in silence to really exploding. The visual details presented by the film Dua Garis Biru clearly set the nuance and mood of the scene.
It can be seen from the difference in the shooting of the Dara family in rich urban areas, in contrast to the Bima family shoot in a well-off village. The levels have their own mood pictures. The soundtrack selection of the film is also unified.
