The prolonged conflict between Palestine and Israel has created a new face in the form of global resistance through boycotting Israeli products. This effort is a clarion call for the world to condemn inhumane acts and respond to controversial policies. This action is not merely symbolic, but a crucial tool in the global humanitarian struggle. However, the question arises:

do these boycotts really have an impact?

The boycott of Israeli products has become a controversial issue that continues to heat up around the world. This controversy emerged as a response to the political conflict and the prolonged Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The movement to boycott Israeli products aims to pressure the Israeli government through economic pressure. Proponents argue that by refusing to buy Israeli products, they can voice their protest against perceived human rights violations in the conflict zone.

For Palestine, the impact of the boycott is felt in two main dimensions: political-economic and humanitarian. Politically, Palestine continues to face a decline in its political value on the international stage, with little support from Arab and Islamic countries. However, Palestine is increasingly trapped in economic dependence on Israel, which emphasizes the political-economic crisis in the region.

From an economic perspective, the boycott shook the structure of the Israeli economy, especially the export sector. Some companies have seen a decline in sales and lost market share in some countries that support the movement. Although the impact has not been evenly distributed, the boycott has raised concerns at the policy and business levels in Israel.

However, it is important to note that boycotts also raise questions and criticisms. Some argue that this approach may cause harm to workers and companies that are not directly involved in the conflict, while others question the extent of its effectiveness in resolving the deeper political roots of the conflict.

The state of the Palestinian and Israeli economies took center stage globally, reinforcing the narrative that boycotts are not just a symbolic act. In the process, the world witnessed how economic instruments can be used as powerful pressure tools in response to events involving human rights. While the controversy continues to heat up, the economic impact of boycotting Israeli products is a call for both sides to reflect and seek solutions that involve dialogue, ethics, and sustainable economic policies.
