Susi Pudjiastuti is a renowned Indonesian entrepreneur and the founder of Susi Air. She was born on January 15, 1965, in Pangandaran, West Java. Susi began her business career in the seafood trade, successfully establishing a seafood export company. In 2004, she founded Susi Air, an airline originally created to transport fresh seafood but later expanded to serve remote routes across Indonesia.Â
Susi is also well-known for her dedication to marine and fisheries issues during her tenure as Indonesia's Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (2014-2019). Her determination and innovation have made her a role model, particularly in the fields of entrepreneurship and female leadership.
